Clothing: She wears typical Native clothing. A long earthy toned skirt with intricate patterns woven in as well as various beads. Her top is simple and covers her breasts. It has fringes over the top as well as the sleeves. Around her waist is an intricate turquoise and around her forehead is a headband. She likes to wear a lot of handmade jewelry, especially large earrings and chokers.

Personality

Amaaia isn’t afraid to speak out. If she disagrees with something, she’ll fight against it and destroy anyone who stands in her way. She loves her family, more than anything else in the world and if something happens to them, she snaps and will get rid of the problem in the most violent way possible. She’s a loving mother and wife, and if you’re on her good side, a powerful ally. She’s extremely wise and a bit stubborn, but nonetheless, she’s an excellent leader and several people look towards her for guidance.

History

Born to the leaders of the Tuoquois tribe before Halcyon was ever formed, Amaaia was raised to uphold tradition and the spirits. She and her brother excelled in their studies, both becoming powerful magic users. She became known as the Spirit of the Forest while her brother was the Spirit of the Night.

But even after all she went through…she broke tradition, years and years of tradition. When she met John, she couldn’t help herself. She was never supposed to love a white man, but she did. She never regretted a moment of their time together. She taught John the ways of their tribe and eventually, he gave up his own life to become a part of hers.

But her brother disapproved, thought of him as a weak, an Outsider. When, by a work of the gods, John became chief by challenging the current chief, Amaaia was overjoyed and they were married soon after. It wasn’t much later that they had a son and named him Nahian. She promised that the next child they had would have an Outsider name like Johnathan.
