He is very untrusting of people, regarding almost everyone as an enemy at first. He is very quiet, not talking unless spoken to. He is extremely overprotective of his sister, Tara. He is smart but highly uneducated.

History[]
His mom was a dark skinned slave, raped by her master. Auni was born dark skinned (though not completely dark) and so his cruel father made him work on the plantation as a slave. When Auni tried to run away he was caught and branded- hence the "R" for runaway on his shoulder. His half sister, Tara, though, found out he was her half brother and, hating her father, helped him escape and ran away with him.
