Laetia is a young shaman who just wants to be loved. She’s emotionally scarred, as well abused in many different kinds of ways. She may seem very wanton, for a lack of better words, due to her urge for love, no matter what kind. She’s a bit emotionally twisted and can’t go a day without thinking crazy things. She can be sadistic, as well as sad at the same time. Her constant “mood swings” bring trouble to occur for her and don’t allow to her to enjoy things.

Laetia is an interesting individual. She appears to be slightly insane, and thus difficult to map out. If anyone was to ask her where she came from, who her parents were, if she had any distant family, she would most likely flip out. However, psychological ventures have indicated that she is a druid from Daein, Laetia was brought up in a rich household. She never was able to live richly, due to her alcoholic mother mentally abusing her and not giving her any money. Laetia’s uncle also contributed to her psychological traumas by lasciviously harassing her, against her wills. Her father likewise, threw stuff at her when he was stressed. Eventually, disregarding her animagic family, she studied ancient magic- essentially, dark magic,- and eventually killed her uncle brutally while he was out drinking, killed her father while he was cheating on his wife, and pushed her mother off her balcony. Laetia then ran away, and is a fugitive from Daein. She lives in Kilvas now, hiding. She’s secretly branded, as her mother wasn’t her real mother, but instead a midwife who killed Laetia’s real mother, and charmed Laetia’s father. Laetia now can be found prowling dark allies of Kilvas or other kingdoms, in search for something. Many who see her regard her as the “Mourning Night”.
