Tess's family owned a flower shop, so as a kid Tess spent a lot of time in the shop looking at the flowers which made Tess have a interest in flowers. Next door to the flower shop was an animal shelter where Tess spent a lot of time at too. Tess enjoyed being outside in the fresh air. It was the only time where she could think.
